A few years ago, Brielle Adams was in a tough place in her life. After talking with a friend about how Job Corps could be a pathway out of her situation, she decided to look into the program. She did her research, and she decided Job Corps was the right decision for her and applied.
After attending the New Haven Job Corps Center to train in culinary arts, she graduated from the center and enrolled in Delaware Valley Job Corps Center to gain her certifications in security.
At both centers, Brielle had staff members to help her through the program. Her career counselor at New Haven helped her figure out her career calling, and at Delaware Valley, Brielle’s residential advisor helped her get focused. Thanks to her hard work, Brielle graduated from Job Corps in October 2018.
Brielle now works for AmeriCorps and believes that Job Corps prepared her for the next step in her life.
