Glenmont graduate Emilio R. has transformed the skills he learned at Job Corps into a career in infrastructure management.
He has been employed at Network Infrastructure in Long Island, N.Y., since he graduated Glenmont in September, obtaining his TASC and Auto Tech certification.
Emilio earns $45 an hour completing evacuation duties for manholes throughout New York City.
His work also helps the telecommunication and gas systems run efficiently. Days for Emilio are spent driving to various locations to clean and maintain these systems, and he is proud to have developed the skills that make his career possible.
