After graduating from Hampton High School in Hampton, Va., Gabrielle McClary took her mother’s advice and enrolled in Job Corps. She began her training at Blue Ridge Job Corps in September 2016 and was extremely focused on her goals. She completed the Certified Nursing Assistant program and earned her ServSafe, Basic Life Support, CPR, and First Aid certifications.
“I met lifelong friends at Blue Ridge,” Gabrielle said. “I will never forget the help I received from staff, friends, and family along the way.”
After completing the program on April 13, 2018, Gabrielle relocated to Marion, Va., where she is working full time at Francis Marion Manor as a nursing assistant. She plans to attend Virginia Highlands Community College to become an occupational therapist assistant.
