Fueled with determination, 18-year-old Kaitlin Martin earned her high school diploma from Penn Foster and completed the Nursing Assistant training program in a little under 6 months from the Cleveland Job Corps Center. She also obtained her Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, and ServSafe credentials.
Kaitlin is working part time at Amara Homecare and Mary Glynn Home. She plans to attend Cuyahoga Community College’s veterinarian technician program and then transfer to Ohio State University to study zoology. “I always tell myself to stay motivated, work hard, and don’t give up,” Kaitlin explained. “The beginning is always the hardest; but life rewards those who work hard, for nothing worth having comes to you easy.”
